Meet Mo

Growing up in the inner city of Los Angeles, Mo experienced a fast-paced life shaped by poverty, addiction, and family challenges. Despite these hardships, a pivotal moment in 5th grade changed her trajectory. An art project introduced by her teacher, Mrs. Simmons, allowed Mo to reflect and gain self-awareness. Mrs. Simmons' words, "I see a bright future ahead of you, you’re going to do great things," stayed with her, even after her teacher's untimely passing. These words, combined with her father’s physical disability, inspired Mo to dedicate her life to reaching out to underserved youth.

With 25 years of expertise in education, specializing in autism, mental health, and drug prevention, Mo has trained new hire employees on professional development and mandated protocols for servicing the mental health population. By sharing her story and providing hope and resources, Mo ensures that every young person can see a reflection of a brighter future, just as Mrs. Simmons saw in her. Her journey and dedication are at the heart of our mission and vision.
